Richard and I both grew up in Crowsnest Pass , Alberta . Richard grew up with down hill skiing and dirt bikes , and limited pets . I on the other hand grew up with cross country skiing and horses , and enough animal's / pet's to start a small petting zoo .My dad { Alf Thompson } was a Range Rider in the Kananaski's Country { the Gap } .My mom { Pat Thompson } was a School Teacher , which allowed us to spend all our summer's out with dad . Richard and I met in 1993 , and that's when his life took a huge turn . He went from dirt bikes to horses , and more pets than he ever imagined . We now live on 80 acres , in the heart of God's Country ...We are surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges on the West and South of us , and the the beautiful Porcupine Hill's on the East of us . Richard is a Field Maintance Foreman at Teck Coal . I used to be Vice-President of the Crowsnest Pass S.P.C.A  . I also was Animal Control Officer for the Municipality of the Crowsnest Pass . I left these to stay at home and raise our two beautiful daughter's and to get started on our dream and our passion . Ranching / Farming and Dogs .
